Ordered tyres online but when I arrived for my appointment the bloke at the desk said they hadn't arrived yet. He did however phone to check where they were and then said the actual ones I wanted were out of stock but they'd give me a better pair at no extra cost and they'd be deilvered within 30 mins. I left the car with them and returned about an hour and a half later to find the better tyres fitted as promised.
Two MOTs carried out and both successful. Easy to book and inexpensive.
Very clear on pricing. Work done on time. Would use them again.

I would always recommend my Halfords Autocentre in Newbury. It is well managed, efficient, the staff are helpful and pleasant and flexible to try to fit around your requirements, but above all they seem genuinely pleased to see you and want to take care of your vehicle. This, coupled with realistic pricing, much of it fixed price menu items, makes it worth a visit if you have not been before - and if you have I feel sure you would return anyway!

I booked at my Newbury branch on a tuesday thinking from past experience that I might struggle to find an MOT garage at reasonably short notice on a saturday. I booked on-line without any fuss, the car was tested and returned to me promptly on the day in a very professional and efficient manner. Thank you.

I was really pleased with the overall customer experience with Halfords. They were quick with the service, and politely contacted me to inform me when it was complete. They didn't try to force me to pay any extra money for unnecessary extras to the service and were very professional. I would recommend them to a friend and will be using them again in the future.

I had my reservations about getting my car serviced by halfords due to some of the poor customer reviews. I'm pleased to say that the service I received was excellent. I cannot find fault with the service i recieved from their Newbury branch and I will certainly be taking my car back for future serving and MOTs.
Greta value for money, welcoming and very helpful staff. After having new tyres fitted, was happy to go back for a service and MOT and will definitely go there going forwards. Also open Saturdays which is handy!
The centre phoned to let me know my tyres hasn't arrived but made plans to ensure they were delivered and let me know as soon as they came. Overall their service was very good and quick.

Appointment was booked for 8.30 am, but at about 8.20 I got a call saying the tyres had not arrived so not to waste my time until further info available. Later that morning got a call to book car in for same afternoon. Which then happened as planned. Good example of getting it right when things go wrong. Well done.

It can't be more straight forward nor more economical and convenient. You order what tyres you want from ASDA, book a date, take car in to your local halfords centre, job done and pay....simples. Highly recommended and hassle free service.
MOT went fine, no problems other than license plate bulbs were out but rather than fail they replaced for me. Free of charge. Which was really nice of them.

Booked into the Newbury garage for a 12-month service on my Skoda Octavia. The manager was polite, helpful and even pointed out that an apparent exhaust replacement was actually just a couple of clamps, saving me a few hundred pounds. I would definitely recommend, and my car will be returning for more TLC in the near future!

Recently had an MOT done. Staff were friendly and courteous, and I was dealt with quickly. I was told I would be called in around an hour when the MOT was complete - but this was more 2 hours. I was quoted for some items to sort the MOT failures however I was not given any choice in these - I would not choose a budget tyre.

I always dread dealing with garages, but this was hassle-free. It was reasonably quick, and staff were friendly and efficient. I'd recommend them.
Bought tyres on-line and scheduled a fitting slot. Tyres were keenly priced already but then had an extra £5 off per tyre deal which made it cheaper. Impressed the manager took it upon himself to drove car after fitting tyres to ensure everything was correct and then re-torqued wheel nuts before handing the keys over.
I am sooo impressed with Halfords on Newbury Business Park, Hambridge Lane. What should have been an easy tyre replacement turned into a complete nightmare but the staff were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and I left the premises a truly happy customer. Thank you Guys!
I ordered two new tyres through TyreGiant and Halfords Autocentre in Newbury was my chosen fitter. I usually dread having new tyres; if the cost doesn't get you down, the fitting usually does as it seems standard for these places to have surly staff and third-world waiting rooms. Halfords were brilliant - Simon, the Centre manager was very efficient as well as friendly and knowledgable. You actually felt valued as a customer rather than getting black looks and zero interaction. Will definately be using them again, for tyres and servicing as it looks like they undercut Ford by around 30% for the same service!
If short on time, use on-line appointment booking - took stress out of booking.
Only in for an MOT which was handled quickly with no attempts at cross-sell.
Easy online booking, polite reception upon arrival, prompt completion and comprehensive de-brief all at a reasonable price.

Booking was extremely easy and once the car was there they got back to me with the feedback quickly. Simon (manager at Newbury Autocentre) was excellent and sorted everything with minimum fuss.
Booking tool online is very simple to use. Only cost £27.50. Dropped the car off and got a call shortly after saying that it had passed but there were a few advisories. I'd done all of the work to get it through it's MOT and all of the advisories were the things that i had already pinpointed for further work. Very positive experience. I'd Definitely use Halfords again.
