My Husband and I would like to express our appreciation for Mr Chris Thacker, manager at Rugby. When we took our car into the garage he was very helpful, the whole garage was very clean and Mr Thacker really looked after us. We were recommended to take our car to this garage by a friend, who said that this was the only genuine one in Rugby and did an excellent service to the public.

We had a problem with our Renault car which needed an MOT & Tax so I called Nationwide Rugby to speak to someone about an MOT. He advised us to have a full service to check the work done ourselves (brake pads replaced by my husband). We eventually booked online and on arrival we were immediately impressed by the attitude and helpfulness of Chris Thacker, manager at the desk. We told him that the car may fail the MOT and he agreed to ring us. On being told that the car had failed, we returned to the workshop and were shocked at the amount of work necessary. Chris explained it all so thoroughly and even showed us parts of other vehicles to assure us that these things do happen and the resulting work would be over £700 and could be completed that day enabling us to go away the following Monday and Tax the car on the last day possible. Obviously we were shocked at the expected bill but to be honest, it had been explained so well, we agreed the work had to be done. We collected the car later that day and eventually left the garage at 5pm which showed how much time he spent with us giving us the assurance we needed regarding the car, showing us the faulty parts etc. We cannot speak highly enough, and have already done so, to many friends who asked which 'Renault' dealer we took it to.There is no way will we go anywhere else for work (which incidently we have never needed since purchasing the car) so you have very satisfied customers. Thank you so much. I hope this letter will be shown to Chris Thacker as he is an excellent ambassador for Nationwide. All too often the wrong messages come through to the customer, and after all, spending £726.99 was a large sum but we were happy and now so confident with the car.
