I just wanted to write to you to say how happy I am with the service I have received at your centre in Banbury. My car was serviced by Murray Phillips and I feel an excellent job was done for a brilliant price! The manager Max was very honest and highlighted a problem with my car and suggested a fix which has given it much more umph! Also, completely free - my exhaust pipe which was damaged was repaired! Superb! Thanks, and keep up the great service!

I have been using the Banbury auto center now for 3 years to service both the family cars. And have to say I have always received excellent service and customer care. My experience of main dealer servicing has never very good so I needed to find an alternative. My brother recommend the Nationwide and so now have both cars serviced with them .
What prompts this e:mail is the very recent repair to my wife's Renault Lacunae, Nationwide had replaced the alternator in November 2009. Last December the car developed a whine so I took it to the centre for inspection. They reported back that it was the alternator that was failing and advised that they will replace this under warranty even though it was just outside the 12 months. How relived I was not to have to face a hefty bill. The new unit was fitted promptly and the centre called me when complete. Please pass on my thanks to the Banbury team and I wish you all the best for 2011.

Further to your recent email I would like to bring to your attention the good service I have always received from the Banbury centre. The staff at the centre are polite and always explain things clearly to me. I have in the past recommended the centre to other people and will continue to do so. These days people always seem to complain about poor service and I felt that I should bring to your attention the good service I have received over the years.

I'd just like to comment that I received a brilliant service today from Max and the guys in the workshop at Banbury. My wouldn't start and I went down to Nationwide in a flap with my car stuck at work. Not only were they able to help me straight away, two mechanics came up to my work to try and start my car. When that failed, they towed my car back to the garage and had it fixed and going within the hour. Max was courteous and friendly as always and made me feel a lot better! I can't thank them enough.

On my way to catch a ferry I was told that my MOT had expired. I went to your Banbury branch and met Max. Although he was fully booked, he was extremely kind to me and phoned several other garages in the area. He then had the brilliant idea of booking me into the Southampton branch and even printed maps for me! I can't thank him enough and I hope that you appreciate what an asset Max is.

I have just returned from having my car pass its MOT at your centre in Banbury. This is the second time this year I have had to contact this depot at short notice, and the service both times has been exemplary - even though on the first occasion the car had to return for further work. The man at the front, Max, is really good. He is plain-speaking, and really well informed on his subject He is a wonderful multi-tasker, handling the busy phone and customers in the office with consummate skill, moving easily from targeted selling to technical advice to admin. I don't know how Max is rewarded, but he is worth a fortune to your organisation.

As we arrived in Banbury my partner thought something was not right with the nearside front brake. We took the car to your Banbury centre to see if they could take a look at the car. They not only did that, the calliper had seized on, it was almost closing time and the part needed ordering. Without any more ado the part was ordered for the following morning they arranged for one of their staff to drive us to the town centre so we could get overnight accommodation and said they would let us know as soon as the car was fixed then they would send a driver to pick us up. Our holiday wasn't spoiled in the slightest and your staff were brilliant.

Good morning I would like to say a BIG thanks to the members of staff at the Southam Road. Banbury Branch of your centres. I have this morning after a 'malfunction' warning light came on in my car, drove directly to the Nationwide depot, explained my predicament and was helped with the cheeriest' pleasant non patronizing (which is quite rare these days) manner from both of them.
I have been so impressed with their manner and professionalism that I have booked my car in for a full service and MOT at the end of February. I would request that you pass on a BIG thanks and congratulations to your to your team at the Banbury branch - if you have awards for best customer service they certainly get my vote!
