Congratulations to our latest wave of apprentices who have successfully completed their training and graduated as fully qualified technicians.

The apprentices have undergone an intensive three-year programme which teaches all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance at purpose-built facilities in Shrewsbury.

Six apprentices at levels 2 and 3 took went on to take part in a series of competitions to determine the 2015 Apprentice of the Year. After very closely fought contests, the top prizes went to Mark Saunders (Level 3) from our West Ealing autocentre and William Elliot (Level 2) from our Ilkeston autocentre. They join the ranks of former Apprentice of the Year Elijah Wood who went on to represent the UK in the World Skills competition this year in Brazil.

Andy Randall, Managing Director, commented: "Every year it is wonderful to see so many of our apprentices complete their training and get the recognition they deserve for the hard work they put in over the three year programme".

The Halfords Autocentres apprentice programme is one of the largest in the UK motor industry, supporting ambitious apprentices to complete a modern apprenticeship and achieve a vocational qualification and diploma.

Please visit our careers website for more information about our apprentice scheme and how to join.
